Health Information Learning Lab
The Health Information Group has developed a number of distance learning curricula that address both state and national health promotion and disease prevention needs. The curricula are intended for a variety of health professionals in multiple settings, often focused on services to at-risk populations that include cultural, racial, and ethnic minorities.
Our team focuses on (1) evidence-based curriculum development and (2) online educational systems geared to adult learning styles in a fast-pased health environment.
The Health Information Learning Lab (HILL) provides a portal to curricula developed at Georgetown University that intend to:
- Provide national leadership.
- Develop environments that support health promotion.
- Eliminate health barriers and disparities.
- Improve health infrastructure and systems of care.
- Ensure quality of care.
- Improve practice through interdisciplinary, evidence-based training.
